Our Story

Annabel's Jewelry started in 2012 in Cleveland, Texas, built on a simple idea: jewelry should be as individual as the person wearing it - and it should last.

The story actually starts much earlier than that. Growing up, my mother instilled in me the habit of paying attention to the ground - to notice what most people walk right past. That habit turned into a lifelong passion for geology, and it led to my first fossil discovery at age ten, in central Texas, with my dad.

That passion never left. Today, my husband and I are seasoned rockhounds - we've spent years hunting for rocks, gemstones, and fossils across Texas and beyond, sometimes alone, sometimes with a guide. We've found red and black plume agate, pompom agate, moss agate, flower garden agate, quartz and amethyst crystals, chalcedony, and fossils including echinoids, ammonites, gastropods, bivalves, and trilobites. One exceptional find was an eleven-inch amethyst geode, discovered in West Texas. On another trip, we found a Yellow Labradorite about the size of a little finger - one of those pieces you don't forget.

We don't just collect what we find - we work with it. We cut, trim, and polish many of our own stones and crystals into the jewelry and leather pieces you see in our shop. Some of our most personal work came from those same trips: at a gem & mineral show, we met a craftsman who faceted a two-carat stone for a wedding ring, and three more stones for another - stones we'd found ourselves, turned into something worn every day.

That's the spirit behind everything we make now: real stones with a real story, worked into jewelry meant to be worn and loved for years, not seasons. Whether it's a piece from our Rocks & Fossils collection or a custom order, every item reflects the individuality and style of the person wearing it.

What We Believe

  • Materials should be explained, not just sold. We believe customers deserve to understand the difference between sterling silver and gold-filled jewelry, what "natural gemstone" actually means, and why it matters - not just a price tag.
  • Handcrafted should mean something. Every piece is made to be worn and loved for years, not seasons.
  • Individuality matters. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind fossil piece or a custom order, we make jewelry that reflects the person wearing it.

Natural Gemstones

Natural Gemstones are formed in nature with no human interference.  If a stone is identified as natural, this means that it has not been treated, enhanced or altered.  These gemstones are mined, cut, faceted and finally polished.
