Blue Lace Agate is a variety of chalcedony known for its pale blue and white banding, formed as silica deposited in fine, repeating layers within rock cavities. The delicate, ribbon-like pattern is what gives it the "lace" name a texture not found in most other agate types.
Wire-wrapped rather than set in a bezel, the cabochon stays fully visible from the front and sides.
Good for a collector drawn to soft color and fine detail over bold pattern.
