A Landscape in Stone

Picture Jasper is a form of opaque chalcedony banded in golden browns and reds, with dendritic markings that form as manganese and iron oxides spread through mineral fractures over time. The resulting patterns often resemble desert horizons or painted scenery no two cuts show the same "view."
