Bohemian Glass, Not Gemstone
Czech crystal glass has been cut in the Bohemia region since the 17th century, prized for a high lead-oxide content that lets it refract light more sharply than ordinary glass. The Tanzanite tone here is a coated finish applied after cutting, echoing the deep blue-violet color of the natural gemstone it's named for.
Strung on a simple figaro chain, the crystals are left to carry the whole look without an added pendant.
