Bohemian Glass, Not Gemstone
Czech crystal glass has been cut in the Bohemia region since the 17th century, prized for a high lead-oxide content that lets it refract light more sharply than ordinary glass. The Siam Burgundy tone gets its deep red-brown color from added chromium during the glass-making process.
Strung on a simple figaro chain, the crystals are left to carry the whole look without an added pendant or centerpiece.
Good for someone who wants a deep, rich color with genuine cut-glass craftsmanship behind it.
