Plumes Trapped in Silica

Plume Agate forms when mineral-rich fluid usually iron or manganese oxide spreads through cavities in rock before the silica around it fully hardens, freezing the plume-like patterns mid-drift. Unlike banded agate, no two plume formations move the same way twice.

This piece has a small, barely noticeable crack from the cutting process natural stone occasionally fractures along internal stress lines during polishing, and it doesn't affect the piece's ability to stand and display.

Good for a collector who values the natural pattern over a flawless finish.
